This Week in Radio Tech (TWiRT) coming to the GFQ Network

“This Week in Radio Tech” (TWiRT) announced this week that they will be moving their show to the GFQ Network. TWiRT has been on hiatus since June, but has recently announced that they will be returning this September. Previously on Leo Laporte’s TWiT Network, This Week in Radio Tech covered issues centric to the equipment used in the radio industry. TWiRT is hosted by Kirk Harnack, a veteran of the radio industry, along with Tom Ray, Chris Tarr, and Chris Tobin.

TWiRT is due to start airing on the GFQ network in early September. Times and date will be announced later this month. Andrew Zarian, founder of the GFQ network stated that “he is very excited to add This week in Radio Tech to the fall line up, along with “What The Tech” with Paul Thurrott, and Spencer Kobren’s “The Bald Truth.”

    1. This is great news! Thanks Andrew and the crew at GFQ for getting these guys back on. Even though I don’t work in radio (I used to work in television) the show was very interesting and the stories these guys told about their experiences in the field were great!

    2. We are very excited to have Kirk and the crew on GFQ. They put on an amazing show

We’ll do a run-through/rehearsal with Andrew Zarian later in August, then TWiRT starts in early September! Whoo hoo!

      This is fantastic….

I already subscribe (through Zune for my Windows Phone) to What the Tech, and I will be sure to subscribe to the Harnack crew’s show at its new home on the GFQ Network.

I urge everyone to SUBSCRIBE to the shows they like on this network and not just watch the embedded video on the GFQ website. The subscriptions are a hard number that I bet advertisers look at, and by increasing the subscription level, we help out the network.

You are making some good moves, Andrew. Keep up the good work!
