While reading reviews about the Galaxy Nexus I noticed many users have been complaining about the quality of YouTube videos over LTE and 3g . There is a very simple fix for this issue.

In the YouTube App settings click on General Settings and check the box next to “High Quality on Mobile” box.

Text Rather then Answer call

Andrew discovered a cool feature when answering or declining a call. Rather then declining the phone call you can now send a text message with one easy swipe.

Motorola Droid – Android 2.2 review

Just a few hours ago I received Android 2.2 on my Motorola Droid . Even though I have had a limited time to use the lasted version of the Android OS I have noticed an increase in performance , stability and better integration between App’s and UI. Overall this is the step android needs to take in order to become the ” Iphone Killer” everyone wants it to be.

The Good

1. Faster Machine Speed. Android 2.2 Froyo is using JIT which makes application speed up 2-5 times.
2. New API, including backup API and device information API. Your Incredible and HTC EVO 4G can play as a Wi-Fi hot spot and provide internet access to other devices, such as iPad.
3. Faster Browser. Browser in 2.2 begins to have V8 JS support, and of course, the flash content support.
4. Better Apps and Battery Life Management. System will automatically update all apps if there is new version and that will help improve phone’s battery life.
5. Enterprise Features. Provide better enterprise function support, such as Microsoft Exchange.
6. Updated Car mode interface
7. Updated Marketplace features

The Bad :

1. No Tethering on Original Droid
2. No Flash Support YET on Motorola Droid ( Verizon has stated that there will be another Android 2.2 update in coming weeks to enable flash

Motorola Droid Firmware Update 2.01

Just a few minutes ago I received a Firmware update for my Droid. It was surprising because I only got it on one of the Droids that I own . ( Still haven’t received it on my other phone) . Verizon has released a list of changes on the phone :

The following enhancements to the Droid by Motorola have been made:
xx OS stability is improved.
xx Battery life is improved.
xx Camera auto focus functionality is improved, and time between
shots is reduced.
xx Enhancements for three-way calling.
xx Audio for incoming calls is improved.
xx When receiving a call on call waiting, the speakerphone now
remains on.
xx Bluetooth® functionality is improved; background echo is eliminated.
xx Improved Bluetooth phone book transfer of contacts to in-vehicle
Bluetooth solutions.
xx After closing a GPS application, the GPS icon will now automatically
be removed from the notification panel.
xx Users can now receive SMS and MMS messages after an EMS
message is received.
xx SMS and MMS may now be sent to seven-digit addresses.
xx Google® contact merging has been updated to accommodate
seven-digit numbers.
xx Visual Voice Mail notices now arrive instantaneously.

So as many of you know I got a Motorola Droid and have spent the last 24 hours playing with this phone. A few problems that I have found are that the Battery life is horrible. after just a few hours of using the phone the battery is dead. The reason for this is that the Apps run in the background ( not like the Iphone where it turns it off as soon as you exit the app) . So what I did was download a app called Advanced Task Manager . The app allows you to turn off the apps you no longer want running

I got many emails asking me to do a side by side comparison between the Lifecam Cinema and the Logitech 9000 so I thought why not.. So here it is I review both cameras and tell you what I think is the better one. I was actually suprised how well the Logitech 9000 does under low light . here is the Review I just did on the new camera we will be using for our shows. It has some great features and some really bad features I am learning about as Im using it.

Some of the bad things that I have found out about the camera is that it uses some Strange Resolutions that vidblaster isnt able to handle well so im still stuck using 640×360

but here are the resolutions that it supports

320×240
424×240
640×360
800×448
960×544
1280×720
